Software#
The selected software products presented here highlight some of my recent work in research software development and environmental modeling.
CSDMS Data Components
A collection of open-source Python packages that provide standardized access to environmental datasets. These components support seamless data-model integration for Earth surface processes modeling through the Basic Model Interface (BMI).
Contributions are welcome to expand the collection of data components and their applications in Earth surface processes research. Please refer to the documentation for available data components and contribution guidelines. The accompanying publication also includes several Jupyter Notebook examples demonstrating data-model integration workflows and scientific applications.
Flood App
Flood App is a RESTful web service that interacts with the Fora.ai platform to support participatory modeling. Built on Landlab, the service performs watershed-scale simulations of surface runoff and soil infiltration based on user-defined landscape conditions and mitigation interventions. Flood App is under active development, with new modeling capabilities being added to support broader watershed and environmental modeling applications.
